IGU is making significant strides in its education and management processes through its new decisions for the year 2024. In the most recent Quality Commission Meeting, important resolutions were passed regarding the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) Institutional Accreditation Program (KAP) process and the Quality Management System.
During the meeting, detailed briefings were provided on the preparatory work and planned activities related to the YÖKAK Institutional Accreditation Program being carried out in academic and administrative units. It was decided that commission members would conduct information dissemination activities about KAP within their respective units. This decision, which was unanimously approved, aims to encourage all units within our university to contribute to the accreditation process.
Within the framework of the Quality Management System, it was resolved that the transfer of new documents and the revision of existing ones would be carried out by Faculty Secretaries. In this context, it was also unanimously agreed that the necessary training would be provided to the relevant personnel.
The meeting concluded after taking into consideration the suggestions and opinions of the members.
